A pipe mill mold set is what a mill is really buying when it changes size: the complete sequence of passes that turns a strip width into a finished pipe. We build mold sets for round, square and rectangular tube, and single molds when one pass has worn out ahead of the rest.

Each mold is machined on our own CNC equipment, hardened, vacuum heat-treated and checked against the approved profile before it ships. Give us the tube range, wall and mill model to start.
Mold sets for a size change
Changing tube size means changing every pass, and the cost of that change is not only the tooling — it is the hours the mill stands still. A mold set supplied as a complete, marked, pre-measured sequence turns a multi-day change into a planned swap.
For mills that change size often, we supply the set in quick-change cassettes: the rolls stay mounted in their cassette, shimmed and checked, and the operator swaps the cassette rather than re-shimming each stand.

Approval before machining
For any non-standard section we send the flower pattern and a profile drawing for approval before cutting metal. It is cheaper to change a drawing than a hardened mold.
