A cassette carries a complete set of rolls in a frame that lifts out of the stand and gets replaced as one unit. Changeover time drops from hours to minutes.
Why it matters on the line
- A whole set of rolls in a lifting frame, so a size change is one lift instead of one roll at a time
- The changeover time saving is usually the entire justification
- We build the cassette to your stand layout and your lifting arrangement
- Especially worth it on a mill that runs several sizes in one shift
What we supply
| Item | What we hold to | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Changeover time | Minutes instead of hours | The reason cassettes exist |
| Frame | Built to your stand and lifting arrangement | It has to fit your building |
| Roll set inside | Matched to the pass line it carries | A cassette of unmatched rolls is still slow |
| Use case | Mills running several sizes per shift | Where the saving compounds |
Every item is machined in our own workshop and marked before it is packed, so it goes back to the stand it came from. If you send us a drawing or a sample we work to that; if you are not sure what you need, send us the mill model and the pass line and we will tell you.

Send us the drawing or the sample
A drawing, a photo with a ruler in frame, or the mill model is enough for us to quote and to tell you honestly whether the item should be reground or replaced.
